Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Welcome sunday....  and hello all!

today I am trying not to follow the news too closely because its tragic, but i am holding the victims in my thoughts and being appreciative of what I have

also chanelling this appreciation into productivity by doing the tasks ive been avoiding! 🙂

how is everyone else?

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

it is so sad to see what the "intelligent" species can do to each other, all for oil, power, guns and religion i do hope one day animals will prosper on this earth without having humans destroy everything.

we are all part of the problem, and no one seems to want to be part of the solution. so sad.

today i am cleaning my house and car, trying to stay away from human civilisation.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Chants? what kind @eth?

you sound very busy @chookmojo! good work on putting yourself out there and challenging yourself but make sure you still have a commitment / fun balance 🙂

I hope you were able to finish the packing and your plans are falling into place @Former-Member

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

yes it is @Jacques... but dont give up on humanity, if we dont have hope then we dont have a direction to be aiming for. hopefully one day we can all live in peace but for my mind its one day at a time with each of us doing what we can no matter how big or small...

sometimes we all need our quiet, maybe tomorrow will be different maybe not, but hold on to your hopes and revisit wether or not you can do anything to move toward them day by day. I hope that today you are at least getting some vitamin D 🙂

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Hi @fancypants
I'm staying away from the news too, it's scaring me and I just can't help but wonder if anywhere is safe for anyone.

The move is done, just need to finish cleaning and stuff. Feeling kind of flat and sad about it and realised that we are kind of homeless.... Again - but very grateful that we are able to stay here in the shelter for a while.

Took my kids to a new all natural playground that is made up of tree trunks and huge rocks all tumbled together with a flowing creek inbetween with log bridges over it and lots of stepping stones through the creek. My little boy didn't quite make it across the stepping stones though and got pretty wet!! Was a bit funny!!

Then to library and food shopping - now home phew!!

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Hi @Fancy_Pants@Jacques, @Former-Member, everyone,

Today is again a very quiet one but I might be out on the beach later for another 1.5-2km walk, depending on the weather. I've resolved to go unless it's raining. I went for a walk in windy overcast weather last week. It was invigorating.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Good luck mazarita hope it's nice out there!!

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Thanks @Former-Member.

It is windy today. I like walking with my face to the wind, extra air in the lungs, gives them a flush.

That playground sounds great. How cute with your son. Good on you for getting the other trips done too.

Re: SUNDAY FUNDAY

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!

For my Sunday Funday I am going to treat myself to some yummy pancakes this evening!

Hope everyone is having a great day, whether that be enjoying some peace and quiet indoors or enjoying the sunshine outside!
