@Glisten the world is moving to the extreme right, and that'll do a lot of harm to all of us. As Thomas Jefferson said "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." Those of us who wrap ourselves in the false security blanket that we're safe in Australia because we think our democracy is never affected by the rest of the world should look across the ditch because in NZ now the parliament iis debating a bill very similar to the one the British high court passed, based on the decree passed by Donald Trump making it illegal for transgender people to use public single sex amenities, including toilets. I read the decree and the High Court version, it's available online.
It's the same as if you were to come to my place and have lunch, some coffee, tea, juice, water, and then a little later you need the toot, and just say because I'm weird I have a lock on the outside of my toilet door (yes it would be weird, but it's legal), and you say "I've got to use your toilet." and I say "No, you'll have to run on home and go to your own toilet.". @Glisten that's physical abuse.
