Hope things going okay for you @StanD

Re: Tabaluga's

Hi @TAB

I went to the doctor today and she said the low platelet count was nothing to worry about. Apparently it’s quite common and because I don’t have any other symptoms I shouldn’t worry unless it drops below 50.

Luckily I also needed a prescription so it wasn’t a completely wasted trip. She also weighed me and took my blood pressure.

Lucky doctor is going to Ireland to visit her elderly Mother in about 10 days time for 3 weeks.

That's a relief @Oaktree .

Hope you are okay.

Re: Tabaluga's

@TAB hey tabby, hope you're enjoying the evening. Just chilling here.

Re: Tabaluga's

Thanks @tyme

Yep all good. Psychiatrist got all worried and sent me to GP. GP knows better.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Oaktree  went to GP today they said need notes from old doctor

Got a call from haematologist after got home. I had a negative test for one of blood clotting factors in january. I was not aware.

So if I get another one in a few months time, they can half my dose of blood thinners to the equivalent of taking an aspro, except less side effects .

So thats potentially good news @Meowmy @StuF @Former-Member

Re: Tabaluga's

@TAB hey tabby, good news re blood results. It's chilly at night here. Not up to much. Still dreaming about the beaches ha ha.
