Yep very hard not to buy Lego @Captain24 the exchange rate is terrible and we didn’t have the room! I did buy one from legoland in Windsor though as it was exclusive to legoland.
D is fine. She slept well last night too.
I’ve got piles of things that I need to put away! I bought like 15 books! And 6 Disney ears that I need to make a thing to match the other ones that I hang.
oh dreaded covid that’s rough! I was a bit worried about getting that while away… especially in London and being crammed onto the underground. But thankfully not… just had a lot of stomach and gastric issues. Sorry it’s knocked you around a lot… I know what that’s like.

That’s cool that you got an exclusive one! @Bow. What is it?
15 books is a lot.. is it a series or something?
You love all things Disney don’t you! I’m more a looney tunes kinda girl!
Sorry you got sick while away. Was it the different kind of foods?
Did you have a good time? Was d blown away with her surprise of Disney?

The exclusive set was this mythica set @Captain24 they had an amazing ride at legoland based on it
I collect a particular name sake book, there is hundreds of different versions of it, so I found heaps of them. Came across a book shop just for this book, some very old versions there. Went to a lot of op shops too and found them there. This book was written by an English author so it popular.
yeah I’m a Disney fan…. Couldnt not be after going to Disneyland! D loved her Disney and legoland surprise.
I have no idea what it was that made me sick so much. The food wasn’t that much different… as in I mean we weren’t in like India eating curries… but maybe my stomach just didn’t like the change. I’ll chat with my dietitian about it next time, she’ll probably have some idea. But so far today I’m feeling ok. I’ve eaten pretty plainly today.
I did have a good time. It was stressful at times though. And it’s different traveling with mum.

That set looks awesome. @Bow It’s awesome that you have a particular memory for it too. That it has meaning.
That’s cool about the books. A kind of attachment to them. Special for you.
Hopefully your dietitian can help work things out.
I could travel anywhere like that with my mum. I have enough trouble going to the coast for a week.
Im really glad you enjoyed it though. You are making amazing memories for d and yourself. It’s these things that she will remember when she grows up.
Do you have anything in place for coming home? For your MH? How is it going?

Coming home to a trauma anniversary @Captain24 I was already have bad ptsd symptoms before we left and I struggled with it while away. I had a lot of nightmares but having D in bed with me most of the time helped a little. And the flashbacks. They suck. It’s a shit time to be honest. And I really want my old SW.
think I’m gonna use jet lag as an excuse to spend time in bed. I am actually really tired still though

Sorry about your trauma anniversary @Bow. are you connecting with your new SW? Does anyone know about this anniversary?
It’s good that D helped a little. I’m sorry about the flash backs and PTSD symptoms.
Jet lag is the perfect excuse.

did something happen recently to make you feel this way? @Captain24
what usually helps things feel a bit lighter? cuddles with dogs? phoning LL? watching a new show (or rewatching one)?
