In the last 12 days we have had 2 days without a storm. It’s been wild! @Jynx @tyme It looks like another one is coming over.
Oh and Oportos burger sounds fine @tyme. I love them but there isn’t one here 😢 I haven’t worked out what the contributing factors are either.
Tonight is the last shift for this block so I’m looking forward to 7 am tomorrow! Get this block out of the way and forget about it.
My kitchen is a mess @Jynx so it’s ok if you don’t do the dishes tonight! 😜

Nah, I realised I didn't like the orportos burgers - not what i was expecting. I dont' have an orportos in my area back in Melb, so when I saw it yesterday, I decided to have that @Captain24
I've been lazing around so much lately so that I have a sore back. I ended up going on the treadmill in hope to 'exercise' the pain out - and yes, it worked 🙂 Let's just say I felt very stiff from not doing much at my parents' place.
Messy kitchen? The only thing that makes me keep kitchens clean is the possibility of ants... i dislike ants!
Have a safe shift tonight @Captain24 , take care.

I’m wanting a triple Bondi with chilli right now! @tyme. It’ll be ages before I get one though.
It must be hard as you seem like you are on the go all the time at home. Do you just stay around the house?
My kitchen doesn’t get ants as it’s on an internal wall so that’s good. In the old place I lived in there was ants even when there was nothing around. But it had a big window to outside.
My shift was long. 12.5 hours of sitting and doing nothing. But it’s over. I’ve had a sleep and am up for a few hours before I go back to bed. All I can say is thank god this block is over.

Congratulations @Captain24 ! Well done on making it through your block of shifts!
Hope you had a good rest after it.
Today, I visited an elderly couple who used to look after me when I was a kid. They are so gracious. The kids went too. And yes, Miss fire cracker was so embarrassing. She walks into their house and says "I want grapes"... a few minutes later "I need to wee!"... she's so embarrassing! Here we are at such a posh place (the great grandaughter of Australia's first prime minister, Barton), and she yells that she needs a wee. Then she climbs across the dining table to get grapes. I think they were horrified inside, but they were graciously saying 'it's okay'.
Later, we went out and I had an Acai bowl before coming home.
I'm glad you don't have ants at your place. I can't stand ants! Chat later

OMG you can’t take her anywhere!!! 😜 @tyme She is priceless.
wow. You know some amazing people. You have had an interesting life.
Was it you that was going to write a book on your life?

Yes, I was going to write a book I started, but it got too 'full of myself' so I stopped @Captain24
Yes, this kid is..hrm... embarrassing... no filter at all. Screams and yells at people all the time, but in a more assertive/bossy way? e.g. "Turn on the air conditioner! I'm hot!"
Today was cute because we were driving and she said, "Mummy, why are you v-versing?" The way she says 'v-versing' was so funny. She also calls Nutella, "Matella".
Yet my sister was saying today, out of all three kids, this little one has had the most birthday invitations from pre-school.
Actually Cap, I need to email you - nothing concerning.

I’d be interested in it @tyme
It’s so cute now but hhmmm maybe not as she gets older. But I have a feeling that she will be the same but cute enough to get away with it.
I love the things kids say and it sticks. We still say stuff that Tay said when she was little. Like ‘ I have a head n’ache’
Shes the little popular kids that’s so cute. She has the sass and the personality to go with it.
Hmm ok…

That's the prob!~ I think her sass and personality means she gets away with it at home, but when she goes out, she's damn embarrassing!
Last night, the other two kids had eye masks so she wanted one. My mum dug out one from a travel pack from QATAR airlines and gave it to her. She then yelled, "I want my name on it!" (her brother has written his name on his own eye mask). I pointed to the words QATAR, and I said "There's your name it spells XXXXXX!" She turns and frowns at me then screams "You're a LIAR! Write my name!"
I laughed so much...
And just then, the two older ones were playing Uno. She kept asking, "Can I play? Can I play?" They ignored her. Then she perks up, "Are you dead? Why aren't you answering me?"
I don't know what to do with these kids.

And yes, "headnache" is a bit cute. The common one is "hostible" (hospital) and "spaheeti" (spaghetti) @Captain24
