I can’t cope

Wow @Bow. Thats a lot. Are they all on pbs?. I do like the idea of Webster packs though. I have asked in the past for just one strip of my meds instead of the whole box and they were really good about it. I just told them I was doing it a bit tough. I didn’t realise that a lot of the scripts she wrote out today can with double boxes until I got home. I’m just trying to figure out how I can lock them away.

Hey @Jynx. Yeah I’m struggling. Hopefully as I work through these med changes things might improve. Plus she has added an antidepressant, I just have to watch that it doesn’t cause mania. 

Yeah it was really rough. I felt uncomfortable venting but I really needed to. I didn’t sleep much at all that night. 

I’ve had my Pdoc appointment, mum dropped her off her dog. I was just giving them some outside time and now they are locked back in.

There is a few on the pbs @Captain24  and a few that are off label, so I have to pay private script. There are some that if the people writing the scripts weren’t lazy and called Medicare to get an authority script I could then get them cheaper. I have meds 5 times a day and I have 3 alarms on my phone. It’s all a lot but I’m glad I made the decision to get them Webster packed, just makes it all so much easier. I just pick them up Mondays… sometimes Sundays cause it’s close to where we do a market and I’m set for the week. This way I also have control of my meds, Webster packed sits on the kitchen bench.

Webster packs make so much sense for you. @Bow It would be hard to remember if you had or hadn’t taken them or if you are taking the right ones at the right time. I have it so easy, I shouldn’t complain at all. 

4 of mine aren’t pbs. If they said I had psychosis then I could get one at the cheaper price. The other one I don’t know what it is but it’s not cheap. I only have 3 that I get cheap and I have a CTG number which helps me get health care card price.

@Captain24 how long you been in this 'adjustment period' hun? Like with your meds I mean. Cos like... no wonder you're struggling, stability is soooo necessary!! 

Hope appt went well? Swimming in meds by the sounds of it ay. Got like a lockbox? Pretty sure you can get like lockable cash boxes from $2 stores - that could work.

I start the adjustment tonight @Jynx. I have just put them all into my 7 day organiser so I don’t have to concentrate every night. She said reducing on med won’t really affect me much until I get to the lower doses but hopefully by then the antidepressants will have kicked in and the new one she is replacing it with. 

I could go and have a look tomorrow while I go grocery shopping. Actually I might have one of those in my cupboard. I’ll go have a look. 

Did you see that I did mow my backyard?? 🐍

I’m terrified to go out the back and to let the dogs go out. @Jynx. I totally freaking out I’ll get another one. 

But I also did most of my chores! So that’s a win

@Captain24 yeah for sure!! Do you know of any snakey prevention tactics? Smells they don't like, traps, or things that could help you feel safer with the doggos? 

Heck yesssss we love to hear it!! I'm still behind, but I caught up on dishes and laundry!! Now just gotta tidy and finish sorting out my room. Been rearranging sooo much and so my house is in this permanent state of limbo atm 🙃

I did think of you while I was doing it. Especially when I was nearly finished the lawn. @Jynx Even at the end I was thinking I so have to tell Jynx my snake scare. 

No snake stuff. The only thing is blue tongue lizards.  My rational mind says that they don’t travel in pairs or packs. There usually only one. But my irrational mind believes that there is heaps sliding around my back yard. 

You got some stuff done so that’s a huge win. Are you nearly finished rearranging?
