@NightFury Would you both like some ideas?
Some things I would like to promise to myself this week are:
1.Getting out of bed when my alarm first goes off (rather than the 5th time)
2.Go to pilates (instead of cancelling)
3.Drink an extra glass of water in the morning
4.Call my beautician and apologise for missing my appointment (again, oops haha) and re-book
5.Go through my next uni assessment to ensure I understand what I am doing
As you can see, these are aren't necessarily big goals, per se, but they are promises I can keep to myself and therefore work towards building my self-trust when I follow through (Because they are things I often put off)
Yours can be even more simple, like, I am going to spend 5 minutes playing with my fur babies and giving them all my attention. 🫶

Studying is helping with interacting with others again after closing myself off for a while but it comes with so much complexity. Everyone seems to be stressed and going through something.

Hmmm...
1. Start a new routine of going to the gym of a morning before work.
2. Make an appointment with my new EAP counsellor.
3. Sit for half an hour after each work day and have a cup of coffee or tea, and just breathe.
4. Drink more water.
5. Read for thirty minutes each night before bed.
Everything feels so big, it makes it hard to look at the little things.

The craft group was very low key @AuntGlow and I felt some imposter syndrome - I'm not a proficient crafter and stumbled over smalltalk but hope to go again.
Small intentional goal: read before bed, plus bed before midnight. Hopefully that will flow onto calmer nights and better mornings.

My intention for this week is to motivate myself to do some exercise each day.
I am also thinking I might share your idea with a friend who also struggles with her mental health.
