Cambodia and Vietnam are neighbouring countries, with their own languages and cultures. Some of the cuisines overlap, such as the savoury pancake 'banh xeo' (the image below). Together with Thailand and Laos, the four countries make up Indochina. @tyme

@Former-Member I love the volunteer work. Go there, time flies and I forget about everything else that going on
Saw GP on Friday who is happy with recent general blood tests plus my liver function. Isn’t concerned about bruising on my knees which are slowly going away.
yesterday afternoon went to Linen party and spent too much $. Lol
anxiety and fears of falling kicked back in this morning following my thoughts of putting in some more flowers. 2 groups planted, 2 to go which will wait for another day
hoping you have a nice weekend

That sounds lovely @Patches59 😍🌺
And sounds like good news from the latest GP visit; I hope the bruising clears up soon ❤️🩹🌺
The linen party sounds like fun! There’s never enough spare cash to buy all the goodies I’d like, is what happens to me too! 🤭🌺
I’m sorry to hear the thought of doing the gardening brings worry about another fall.. I wondered if you use one of these, or something like it might be helpful? 💜
The handles seem to look a bit safer when transitioning up and down to the ground..
I hope you don’t mind - hopefully this is a helpful thing 🙂🤗🌺💜

These are great @Former-Member and I already have one.
Over the years I’ve done lot of damage to my knees I can’t tolerate kneeling and have been advised by specialists to avoid kneeling if possible. This morning I kept my fork right beside me.
As an early teenager I did substantial and permanent damage to discs in my neck area that has physically restricted me rest of my life. Lurking quietly in back of my mind is knowledge of things that could result in me becoming paralysed from neck down. Life goes on though and I try to take extra precautions.
Linen party was perfect timing for me to review the linen and towels I’ve currently got plus want to change as part of post moving

Yes avoiding kneeling would be very sound advice after having joint damage @Patches59 🫂🌺💜
I’m really sorry to hear you had such a bad injury when young that risks paralysis later on in life - that’s very scary by the sound of it ❤️🩹🫂
New linens to refresh after a change sounds really nice 🙂💜🌺
