@Glisten yeah, the "New Dalkeith" was inspired by someone involved with the Swan Chamber of Commerce. The reasoning behind it is that the Valley of the Swan has just as much going for it as Dalkeith and other affluent suburbs.

@Appleblossom this is why I vent with Glisten on this forum. It's anonymous and is (or so I thought) a safe place to be able to speak my mind. The person I'm referring to does not know about this forum so I'm not quite sure what you mean about being careful about listening ears...

@PeppyPatti like you I don't care who you vote for, just make your vote count. Having been a scrutineer for many years and having to check the ballot papers some people will void their papers when they could be making the change they want.

All I can say is I'll be glad when it's over so I don't have to listen to the ads. Both major parties bash each other and then lie about promises they'll fulfil and the minor ones often don't have a lot of policies to push so they just ramble about how they are independent and that's good.

I do like that picture you posted, it looks delicious. I made roasted pumpkin drizzled with honey served with roast zucchini, tomato (I'm sorry G!!) and onion risoni topped with fetta and diced bacon. It was really yummy.
